Dr. Sandra Golamco is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine. She has also received fellowship training in interventional pain procedures.
A native of the Philippines, Dr. Golamco attended college and earned her medical degree there. She completed her medical internship at New York City’s St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center and served as chief resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, also in New York.
In her more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Golamco has worked with patients recovering from a variety of conditions, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, neurologic and orthopedic conditions as well as acute and chronic pain. Dr. Golamco has worked at a number of pain management clinics across Tennessee and brings a wealth of hands-on experience in a variety of interventional spine and joint procedures. Most recently, she leveraged her experience to provide physiatry consultation services for patients.
A well-respected physician, Dr. Golamco loves her role as a physiatrist and pain physician and a enjoys helping patients achieve the best recovery that they can with the injuries they’ve sustained. Whether by procedures, therapy, medications, or simply by counseling, she finds gratification in helping make a difference in people’s lives.
In her spare time, Dr. Golamco enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, music, eating and cooking good food.
