Courtney Hollis is an Advanced Practice Nurse at Comprehensive Pain & Neurology Center.
Courtney received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee Southern and her master’s degree in Nursing, with a specialty focus on adult care nurse practitioner, from the University of Alabama at Huntsville. She is board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Courtney’s professional experience includes nearly four years of practicing inpatient infectious disease medicine and working in a level two trauma emergency department. Through her experience, she is well-versed in delivering care to a wide span of patients.
In caring for patients, Courtney is empathetic and understanding. Her foundation in health care started when she was a nurse’s aide at 16 years old, which has allowed her to appreciate all aspects of patients’ needs.
In addition, she takes a comprehensive approach to each individual’s health. She understands that pain is unique from one person to another and works with each patient to accomplish a common goal.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time at home with her spouse and children as well as their boxers, chickens, ducks, and turkeys.
