Castle Connolly has named founder Dr. John Schneider to a Top Doctor for the second year in a row!
The Top Doctor list represents the top 7% of doctors in the nation and is the largest network of peer-nominated physicians with over 61,000 top doctors.
Dr. Schneider started his practice to focus on high-quality headache care and pain management from a neurologist’s perspective. Focusing on interventional pain management, our providers offer non-opioid treatments with demonstrated benefits, such as neuromodulation and radiofrequency ablation procedures. Dr. Schneider and other clinic providers are also working on accreditation for a Headache Center of Excellence and initiating a fracture liaison service for compression fractures and osteoporotic patients.
In addition to providing high-quality pain care, Dr. Schneider is an advocate for both physicians and patients through various efforts. He served as a founding member and recent past President of the Tennessee Pain Society. His work with the Society includes working with past Tennessee governors to address the opioid crisis and serving on the state Chronic Pain Guidelines Committee. Dr. Schneider is also committed to training the next generation of pain clincians. He recently accepted an offer to serve as the Headache/Pain Medicine faculty member on the HCA Graduate Medical Education training program in Neurology.
